Jennifer Lopez was born in 1969 to a family with Puerto Rican descent. Lopez was a dancer throughout her childhood, and was first seen in a film when she was 16 in the film My Little Girl. In 1991, she received her big break as actress in the television show In Living Color. Lopez's starring role was the conflicted police officer in Shades of Blue. Lopez played a character comical in Second Act, a comedy about a woman who is offered a coveted job in a Manhattan law firm by colleagues after they embellished their resume. Lopez later joined an all-female ensemble for Hustlers (2019) which is a story about strippers who conspire against their wealthy customers. In 2022, she starred in two comedies with a marital theme. After discovering her fiance had been cheating, she gets married to the math instructor at her show.
