Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the year 1962. She is a famous American actress. Her debut in film was Bad Boys (1983). Following that she enrolled in the Bratpack group and appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy was awarded with the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead in her character in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American actor and a writer. She began her career in film beginning in the early 1980s, with the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of applause. The film of Rick Rosenthal also featured Sean Penn, Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Following her first film, she appeared in 1985's comedy and drama The Breakfast Club. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club has been hailed as being among the high school cinema's best films. Even though the budget for this film was only $1 million, the film has made more than $50 million. Between then, she began to appear on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first appearance on television. It was a show specifically for teens that began airing beginning in April 1980. The actress also appeared in other television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as a small cameo. Sheedy for her amazing performances has won numerous awards including the MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
