Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico and is an American-Mexican actor. She sings as well. She was raised by her mom throughout the USA she faced a lot of racial taunts which gave her feeling of being unwanted. Her confidence began to grow in the ninth grade when she appeared in an audition and was highly praised by the judges for her vocal ability. It not only increased her confidence but her ambitions were changed. The 22-year-old earned an education from the Julliard School in New York. She began her career when she was 23 years old, appearing in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and The You've Got Mail film. Her most memorable break came from the role of The Lady of The Lake, in the original Broadway version of Spamalot. She won the Tony Award and received great praise for the role. Her fame grew by appearing on Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. Known as a singer she also released a single and an extended play. Also, she's an activist and is a tireless advocate for LGBT rights.

Perry is she is Chicago native who was born to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Her first TV roles were two appearances on the show as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) on the ABC sitcom Roseanne, the character portrayed by her mother.
